ABOUT US The Brownwood Art Association was organized in 1927 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2002. Our mission statement remains the same today as that of the organizing founders: Mission Statement An alert, vital, working organization dedicated to establishing and cultivating a cultural atmosphere where in the members may be inspired, instructed and encouraged to create and exhibit their works of art and to sponsor such activities of high principle and common good that will promote a better understanding between the artist and public.
